アメリカ政府はウクライナで民間人が埋葬されたとみられる集団墓地が見つかったことを受け、ロシア軍の残虐性を示すものだと指摘しました。
ウクライナがロシア軍から奪還したハルキウ州イジュームで数百人が埋葬された集団墓地が見つかり、ロシア軍による戦争犯罪の可能性が指摘されています。　
アメリカの国家安全保障会議のカービー戦略広報調整官は16日、ロシア軍がウクライナで行ってきた残虐な行為を示すものだとしたうえで、
戦争犯罪を記録し、ロシアに責任を取らせる取り組みを積極的に支援していくと述べました。
また、ウクライナに対して6億ドルの追加の軍事支援を決めたことについて、戦況の変化に応じて主要な武器の提供を継続していく考えを強調しました。
