今朝早く、茨城県の東海第二原発で変圧器から火が出ました。
Early this morning, a transformer caught fire at Tokai Nuclear Power Factory No. 2 in Ibaraki Prefecture.
周辺への放射性物質の放出は確認されませんでした。　
The release of radioactive material to the surrounding area is not confirmed.
「住人の皆様、県民の皆様に大変ご心配、ご迷惑をお掛けしたと考えております。本当に申し訳ございませんでした」　
"We are aware that we have caused great concern and inconvenience to the people and citizens of the province. We are truly sorry."
日本原子力発電によりますと、午前7時50分ごろ、東海第二原発の変圧器から火が出ているのを協力会社の作業員が見つけました。　
According to Japan Atomic Power Company, around 7:50 a.m., a worker of a subcontractor discovered that a transformer at Tokai No. 2 nuclear power factory had caught fire.
火は常駐する消防隊によっておよそ4分後に消し止められ、けが人はいませんでした。　
The fire was extinguished by the resident fire brigade about four minutes later and no one was injured.
現場は放射線管理区域外で、放射性物質を測るモニタリングポストの値に異常はありませんでした。　
The fire location was outside the radiation control area and there was no abnormality in the values of the monitoring stations measuring radioactive substances.
日本原電によりますと、変圧器はリース品で、浄化槽のポンプを動かすために使用していたということです。
According to the Japan Atomic Energy Company, the transformer was rented out and used to control the sump pump.
