おととい、ペルーから帰国したばかりの佳子さまが、中学生のスピーチの大会をご覧になりました。
The day before yesterday, Princess Kako, who had just returned from Peru, participated in a speech contest for middle school students.
午後1時前、東京・渋谷区の会場を訪れた佳子さまは疲れた様子も見せず、笑顔で関係者の出迎えを受けられました。　
Just before 1 p.m., Princess Yoshiko arrived at the venue in Shibuya, Tokyo and showed no signs of fatigue, welcoming the participating parties with a smile.
大会は地方予選から選ばれた12人の中学生が日々の思いや将来についてスピーチするもので、新型コロナの影響で4年ぶりの開催です。　
The contest was held for the first time in 4 years due to the impact of the new Corona virus, in which 12 middle school students selected from the local preliminary round will speak about their daily thoughts and future.
佳子さまは熱心にスピーチを聞き、大きな拍手を送られていました。　
Princess Kako listened attentively to the speech and clapped enthusiastically.
