山梨県富士吉田市は先ほど、富士山の「初雪化粧」を宣言しました。　
Not long ago, Fujiyoshida city, Yamanashi announced that Mount Fuji was "made up with first snow".
こちらは山梨県側から見た朝の富士山です。

山頂付近、うっすらと雪が積もっているのが確認できます。

富士吉田市によりますと今朝6時半、市の富士山課の職員が目視で山頂付近の雪化粧を確認しました。

去年の富士山の初雪化粧は10月23日で、今年は1カ月以上早い宣言となりました。
Last year, snow first appeared on Mount Fuji on October 23, and this year was announced 1 month earlier.
この後、気象庁も「初冠雪」を発表する可能性があり、今日発表されれば平年より9日早い初冠雪となります。
