東アジア首脳会議は3年ぶりに対面での開催となり、ASEAN諸国の首脳のほか、岸田総理やアメリカのバイデン大統領らが参加しました。　
The East Asia Summit was held in person for the first time in three years and was attended by ASEAN leaders, as well as Prime Minister Kishida and US President Biden.
ロシアは、プーチン大統領の代理でラブロフ外相が出席しました。　
Foreign Minister of Russia Lavrov attended on behalf of Putin.
会議ではロシアのウクライナ侵攻もテーマになる見通しですが、取りまとめられる議長声明はロシアを名指しして非難する内容は見送られる見込みです。
Russia's invasion of Ukraine was also supposed to be a topic at the conference, but the compiled chairman's statement is expected to skip specifically denouncing Russia.
ラオスやベトナムなどが国連のロシア非難決議を棄権していて、ロシアとの関係性を重視するこうした国の影響もあるとみられます。　
Laos and Vietnam have abstained from the UN resolution condemning Russia, and it is believed that these countries, which value their relationship with Russia, are also influential. 　
会議では一枚岩とはいえないASEAN各国やアメリカやロシア、中国など立場の異なる国の応酬が予想されます。　
The meeting is expected to see exchanges among ASEAN countries, which are not monolithic, and countries with different positions, such as the U.S., Russia, and China. 　
夕方には議長国カンボジアのフン・セン首相が会見します。
In the evening, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, the host country, will hold a press conference.
