政府はガソリン価格の抑制策として石油元売り会社に支給する補助金の上限を28日から「35円」に引き上げると発表しました。　
The government announced that they would raise the upper limit of subsidies provided to oil wholesalers to "35 yen" from the 28th as a measure to curb gasoline prices.
政府は高騰するガソリンなどの価格を抑えるため1リットルあたり「25円」を上限に石油元売り会社に補助をしています。　
The government subsidizes oil wholesalers up to 25 yen per liter to limit soaring prices of gasoline and other products.
この制度は今月末まででしたが、これを9月末まで延長したうえで28日から補助の上限を「35円」に引き上げます。　
The scheme is in place until the end of this month, but after extension until the end of September, the upper limit of the allowance will be raised to "35 yen" from the 28th.
また、35円を超える高騰が起きた場合、超過分についてもその半額を補填します。　
In addition, if a spike of more than 35 yen occurs, half of the excess amount will be offset.
一方、レギュラーガソリンの全国平均の基準価格を現在の「172円」から「168円」に引き下げますが、

制度終了直前に駆け込み購入などの混乱が起きないように一定の期間をおいて基準価格の切り上げを検討するとしています。
