望遠鏡で見た時に2つの星が同時に見えるのは非常にまれで、

国立天文台によりますと、地球から見える2つの星の位置が0.1度の角度まで近付くのは、1623年以来、397年ぶりです。
according to the National Astronomical Observatory, this is the first time in 397 years since 1623 that the position of the two stars viewed from the Earth reach the angle of 0.1 degrees.
ちなみに、1623年の日本は江戸時代で、徳川家光が3代将軍になった年です。

次に2つの星が近付くのは60年後の2080年だそうです。
