東京の夏の風物詩「隅田川花火大会」が2年連続で中止されることが分かりました。
隅田川花火大会は例年7月に開催されていますが、今年は東京オリンピック・パラリンピックと日程が重なるため、10月23日に開催が予定されていました。
大会実行委員会は開催に向けて協議を進めてきましたが、
新型コロナウイルスの感染の収束が見通せず来場者の安全を確保できないと判断し、18日に中止を発表しました。
中止となるのは2年連続で、仮に感染が収束しても延期での開催もしないということです。
