温室効果ガス「実質ゼロ」に向け、政府は発電や燃料電池車の燃料として二酸化炭素を出さない水素の導入拡大を目指しています。
Towards the "fundamentally zero greenhouse gas" goal, the government is aiming to expand the use of hydrogen, which does not release carbon dioxide, to generate electricity and to fuel fuel cell cars.
こうしたなか、2030年に30万トンとしてきた利用量の目標を1000万トンに引き上げる方向で検討していることが分かりました。
In that situation, the government is considering raising its target hydrogen usage level of 300,000 tons by 2030 to 10 million tons.
水素1000万トンで発電可能な容量は国内の発電所がフル稼働した場合の1割強に匹敵します。
Capacity can be generated by 10 million tons of hydrogen equivalent to more than 10% when the power factories in the country are running at full capacity.
