栃木県大田原市の公園ではおよそ6000株のアジサイの花が見頃を迎えています。　
About 6,000 hydrangeas are blooming in a park in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture.
安土桃山時代の面影が残る黒羽城址公園には、ガクアジサイや、セイヨウアジサイなど、50種類およそ6000株のアジサイが植えられています。　
Kurobane Castle Ruins Park, which still preserves vestiges of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, is home to approximately 6,000 hydrangeas of 50 different varieties, including rose hydrangeas and Western hydrangeas.
30年以上前に地元の商工会が観光の目玉にしようと植えたものです。　
The flower was planted more than 30 years ago by a local chamber of commerce to become a tourist attraction.
訪れた人たちは斜面に咲く色とりどりのアジサイを写真に収めるなどして楽しんでいました。
Tourists enjoy taking photos of colorful hydrangeas blooming on the mountainside.

来月7日までは「紫陽花まつり」が開かれ、期間中は午後7時から午後9時までライトアップされます。　
The “Hydrangea Festival” will be held until the 7th of next month, during which time the area will be illuminated from 7pm to 9pm.
アジサイは来月中旬くらいまでは楽しめそうだということです。
Visitors can enjoy hydrangeas until about the middle of next month.
