アメリカ・サウスカロライナ州で20日、民家の裏庭にワニが現れました。
Crocodile appeared in the backyard of a private house on the 20th in South Carolina, US.
このワニは近くの沼に住んでいて、「ビッグ・ジョージ」というニックネームで知られているそうです。
The crocodile lives in a nearby swamp and is known as "Big George".
駆け付けた警備員に水を掛けてもらうなどして落ち着つくと、最後はロープで引きずられながら沼へと帰っていきました。
After the security guards hurriedly splashed the water and the crocodile calmed down, it was finally pulled back to the swamp with a rope.
この家の住人は、地元メディアに対し「子どもたちに毎日、『近所に危険な動物が住んでいる』と教えていたので、実際に目撃することができて良い学習になった」と話していました。
Responding to local media, the owner of the house said, "Every day I tell the children that there are dangerous animals living around us, witnessing this is a valuable lesson for them."
