More people fly home by helicopter during Spring Festival in China
According to the Singapore newspaper Shinbun, many people in China fly home by helicopter during the Lunar New Year season.
This year's Chinese New Year dredging is on the 17th day of February.
Before and after the Chinese New Year, there is a special transportation period called ``Spring Fortune Dredging'', when many people return to their hometowns.
In the Yangtze River Delta region, where there are large cities such as Shanghai and Nanjing, the number of helicopter reservations has increased significantly.
According to one helicopter company, Kaisha, reservations are now 1.5 times higher than usual.
For example, a helicopter from Nantong Chongchuan Station to Shanghai Pudong Station will fly between two and four times a day.
A one-way ticket costs 698 yuan (approximately 10,000 yen or 5,000 sen yen).
In addition, the Subu Line, which connects Zhoushan Shuzan and Kenzi in Gypsum, Zhejiang Province, costs 599 yuan (approximately 10,000 yen, or 3,000 sen yen), and will run once a day after the Chinese New Year dredging.
The subway line connecting Shanghai and Kenshu will also be operated three times a day in February.
