Panasonic, a lot of people are leaving the company.
Panasonic Holdings had planned to reduce its workforce by about 10,000 employees by March of next year.
This figure includes staff from both its Japanese and overseas operations.
However, the number of people leaving the company is expected to be higher, reaching approximately 12,000.
This represents about 6% of the Panasonic Group's total workforce.
The company stated, “ We want to support those leaving so that they can find new jobs. ”
